In these heady days of online wine clubs, flash sales, and limited-time offers, we realized we could help wine lovers out by previewing the best offers for the week ahead — we do the hard work, so you can go straight to the wine.

Each Monday, we’ll publish a round up of the most compelling offers. Given the diversity of our audience across all ages, preferences, and budgets, know that some of these bottles might not quite float your boat, or might not be the right price. But all our choices represent genuine value and hard-to-match opportunities in their own categories.

This week, our picks are the Clos les Roches Blanches Saint-Emilion, which is not just excellent value, but also a great bottle to crack open with hearty stew or a nice roast, and the Gaja Barbaresco, a coveted wine being offered at a bargain price.

Keep an eye out each week for our top picks.

Château Les Roches Blanches Saint-Emilion 2017 ($35)

Who’s it for: People who don’t get their wine advice from a nearly 20-year-old movie. Seriously, if you’re still quoting “Sideways,” you can’t be helped. This elegant Merlot blend from Right Bank Bordeaux has some prominent names behind it (Michel Rolland, Stéphane Derenoncourt) and hails from one of the pre-eminent villages in the region. It demonstrates that once you get outside the most iconic producers, almost no region delivers amazing wines at reasonable prices like Bordeaux.

Where to get it: SommSelect, available on 1/17/22 until sold out

Pas de Cheval Mixed 3-Pack 2019 ($750)

Who’s it for: Cabernet Sauvignon collectors looking to get ahead of the trend. This trio of wines from three of Napa Valley’s most famous appellations (Oakville, St. Helena, and Howell Mountain) were born out of a collaboration between winemaker Maayan Koschitzky and Master of Wine Vanessa Conlin with an eye towards age-worthiness and collectability.

Where to get it: Wine Access, available 1/18/22 at 10 am (local time) until sold out

Gaja Barbaresco 2015 ($199)

Who’s it for: Nebbiolo lovers looking to build a collection. This hard-to-find Barbaresco is the flagship offering from Gaja, one of the most iconic producers of Italian wine. This rich, layered wine comes highly rated (96 Wine Enthusiast, 95 James Suckling) with a drinking window well into the 2030s. Lay down a bottle (or two) for special anniversaries in the years to come.

Where to get it: SommSelect, available 1/19/22 until sold out

Domaine Saint Mitre "Expérience" Rosé Vin de Pays du Var 2020 ($12)

Who’s it for: “Rosé All Day” types and those who want a little bit of sunshine in the middle of winter. While the arrival of 2021 rosés will be greeted with much fanfare in the next few months, the truth is that most quality rosé is best with a little bit of bottle age, like this wine from Domaine Saint Mitre. Pro tip: Buying rosé with a bit of age is also a great way to get a deal.

Where to get it: Last Bottle Wines, available from 10 am PST 1/20/22 until sold out
